Rumors are swirling that the Cherokee County Water & Sewerage Authority has decided to sell all 640 acres of their land - upon which the bulk of the Yellow, Purple, and Orange trails reside. It appears a residential home corporation has tendered an offer to buy the property, leaving the future of the recently logged area in doubt as a wilderness sanctuary.
